Philippopolis Art Center is the first private art museum in Plovdiv with masterpieces from the Bulgarian Revival period to the present day, opened to the public as a museum and art gallery in Hadji Aleko's house, a cultural heritage gem built in 1865.
The Museum today
As the most important part of the Philippopolis Art Center, the Museum continues to attract visitors from around the globe. Since 2015 it has been hosting private VIP events, attracting the attention of movie stars, diplomats, corporate leaders and politicians, who have chosen the Museum their high profile meetings and private parties.
