The artist Anna Petrova is not widely known to the contemporary audiences. She was born in Sofia in 1924. Enrolled at the Art Academy, in the class of professor Boris Mitov. Graduated with a degree in painting in 1950 and became a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists the same year. She creates mainly portraits, still lives and nudes.
