By historic period

The strongest period represented in the Art Gallery (1944 - 1989) is also the one most valued by collectors. In that epoch artists were creating impressive works in spite of geographical and ideological limitations governing Eastern Europe. Contemporary art is also on display, but the discriminate curators select only true masterpieces.
